What defines a Hero? What deeds, what characteristics, what actions make a human elevate to the rank of a revered figure whose courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment inspire admiration and admiration from others?

From a joint work between the Company Adishakti (India) and ENSATT Lyon (France), this extraordinary Theatre project with more than 10 people on stage focuses on the most two important mythological characters in Asia and Europe: ARJUNA, considered as one of the best archers of the Mahabharata, and ACHILLES considered as the greatest warrior of the Trojan War in the Iliad.

For their outstanding actions all along their epic adventures, both are recognized as paragons of heroism, embodying virtues of valor, sacrifice, and honor that transcend time and culture. Join us as we delve into the timeless tales of these legendary heroes and explore what truly defines their greatness.

Alliance française de Lucknow partners with the French Embassy in India and Institut français in India to bring this extraordinary show to Benarès ahead of the upcoming opening of its Annexe Branch near Assi Ghat.
